The Vintage Fret Shop was founded in 1970 by David Colburn. Vintage Fret now makes its home in what was once the town blacksmith's shop, next to the river. Musicians from all over the world have found great company, quality repairs, and inspiring musical instruments here. They keep coming back. We hope that you will too. 		Ben Lamper is the Fret Shop's factotum, amanuensis, guitar monster, and all-around good vibe. He'll help you if he can.

	Shana Aisenberg is one of those great players who also is a devoted instructor. Shana teaches acoustic and slide guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, fiddle, ukulele and clawhammer banjo.
