Still Not Grown Up
Some years ago, Deborah Stuart, David Colburn, and Will Cabell
toured Russia with a multi-media show called "Lost Nation
Revue." They were all drawn together by the string band
music that evolved in the southeastern United States during the
early twentieth century. David's favorite cut on this cassette
is the mandolin and guitar duet of "East Tennessee Blues"
he played with Will Cabell on side two. Most of the songs are
catchy sing-alongs, zesty standards, or both. Instrumentation
includes guitar, banjo, mandolin, autoharp, ukulele, kazoo, and
12-string guitar. Don't miss Fats Waller's classic "Get
Some Cash For Your Trash" rendered as a recycling ballad
by Deborah and Will. The cassette has sixteen spellbinding songs
for only $10.00. How can you go wrong? |
