14585 Fender Stratocaster, neck date is October 22, 1971, and it has a maple neck with a "B" neck profile. There is a 7/8" X 1 1/2" chip in the inner bout, which has been filled with epoxy, but not painted. Other than that, the finish is quite nice; lots of tiny weather checks, no cigarette burns. One volume pot was replaced a long time ago, and we've replaced the bridge pickup, with the original saved in the case pocket. Otherwise everything looks original, including whammy bar and orange lined hardshell case. $4900.00

13550 Fender Custom Shop David Gilmour Stratocaster Relic. This magnificent guitar is a detailed recreation of the original. It is identical to the guitar that can be found on many of the Pink Floyd albums and recordings. Every nick and scratch is faithfully reproduced, as well as finish wear. We're not sure if those crafty guys at the Custom Shop were able to replicate David Gilmour's DNA on this guitar, but we wouldn't be surprised. This instrument is equipped with a sweet hardshell case that's lined with dark green crushed velvet, and filled with case candy: a signed copy of "Pink Floyd The Black Strat- A History of David Gilmour's Black Fender Stratocaster," written and signed by David Gilmour's longtime friend and guitar tech, Phil Taylor. (You may need to read the book to decypher the function of the Strat's "mystery switch," which makes Ben Lamper sound like David Gilmour! Also included are an Evidence Audio cable, Fender Custom Shop strap, and a spare set of GHS Gilmour signature strings, all as used by David G., himself! Play and Believe! $4799.95
