13732 Mysterious
soprano uke; appears to be of post WWII German construction
with solid spruce top and wonderful tuning pegs. The pegs function
perfectly, and each peg contains an adjustable helical compression
spring and oil wick. I'm not kidding! I think Schaller designed
these tuners, and they are the best we've ever seen. This is

soprano uke, (used c. 1933), all koa construction. The back
has three nicely repaired cracks, but top, sides, and neck are
unscathed. This is a light and lively instrument from the ''Golden
Age'' of the classic ukulele. As you might imagine, it is equipped

13818 Kumalae
Gold Award soprano uke, (used c. 1933) with all koa construction,
and has rope binding around the face, so it's more decorated
than most, and it has functional mechanical friction pegs. This
is a light and lively instrument from the ''Golden Age'' of the
classic ukulele. The face and the peghead have each had a crack
repair. We've given it an acrylic insert where a short section
of binding was missing, and installed a fresh set of strings.
